Do you replace whole hybrid packs, or repair them?
Both, and Earthling tells you which is worth it. A pack with one weak module gets the module; a pack with several gets replaced. The diagnosis comes with the cell readings so you can see why.
Is a hybrid cheaper to service than a normal car?
Usually. No oil changes on the electric side, brakes that last twice as long, and the engine runs less. The expensive items are the battery and the inverter, and both are rarer than the internet suggests.

Yes, and more usefully we can tell you what it means for your car specifically. The code tells us where to start looking, not what's wrong.
