Do I need high-voltage certification already?
It helps, and it is not required for the right person. We run our own training programme and would rather bring somebody good up to speed than hire somebody certified who is not curious.
Is the training really on paid time?
Yes. We close the bays for it, which costs us a day of revenue, and that is the point: training that happens on your own weekend is training that quietly does not happen.
What is the apprenticeship like?
Paid, structured, and with an actual curriculum rather than sweeping up and watching. Ask Brittany, who came through it and is now named in customer reviews.
